Aimee Corrigan is a photographer, producer and writer. Aimee's work has been published widely including the BBC Online, the Boston Globe, Current TV and Wired Magazine. She is a regular contributor to Life is good Inc. and Project Joy.
Aimee was most recently the Associate Producer and Still Photographer of the award-winning documentary film, "This Is Nollywood". She is currently in development of The Nollywood Workshops, an initiative to bring training and resources to filmmakers in Nigeria.
Aimee is the Director of Practicum at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) at Boston University. Driven by the philosophy that media can make a difference, the CDIA Practicum creates partnerships with non-profit organizations around the world to explore the impact and reach of digital media.
Aimee graduated from Colorado College with a BA in Philosophy and African Studies. She completed parts of her degree at the Center for European Studies in The Netherlands and the University of Zimbabwe.
Franco Sacchi
Co-Director
Franco Sacchi is an independent Director/Producer. Franco directed, produced, and edited American Eunuchs, a feature length documentary that aired in 2004 on the Sundance Channel and was an official selection at several national and international film festivals, including the prestigious International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam (IDFA).
In 2006, he co-produced and directed the award-winning feature length documentary, This is Nollywood, a portrayal of the unknown world of Nigerian film industry. Franco was invited to speak about Nollywood at the prestigious TED Global conference in Tanzania in 2007.
Franco was recently the recipient of a grant from the Sundance Documentary Institute to co-direct Waiting for Armageddon. This film will be a feature length documentary that looks at the growing section of evangelical Christians in the U.S. Currently, Franco has several additional documentary films in development.
France is the Filmmaker in Residence at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) at Boston University. Franco graduated in political science at the University of Bologna and obtained a MA in Mass Communications at Emerson College.
